What to Expect
Visiting a church for the first time can come with a lot of questions. We want you to feel comfortable when you arrive, so here are a few things you can expect on a Sunday at Living Water.
When Should I Arrive?
Our Sunday worship services begin at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. We recommend arriving about 10–15 minutes early, especially if you are bringing children and need a little extra time to get them settled.
What Is Worship Like?
Our worship gatherings center on God’s Word and the gospel. A typical service includes praise and worship, prayer, Scripture, and a biblical message, as we seek to worship God together and be shaped by His truth.
How Long Is the Service?
Our worship services generally last about 75–90 minutes. The 11:00 AM service is followed by lunch and fellowship for those who would like to stay.
What Should I Wear?
Come as you are. There is no particular dress code at Living Water—you’ll find people dressed anywhere from casual to Sunday attire. We simply want you to feel comfortable joining us for worship.
What Happens After Worship?
Church life at Living Water extends beyond the worship service. Following our 11:00 AM gathering, we share lunch and fellowship together, and many Sundays also include Bible studies, Journey Groups, and other ministry gatherings in the afternoon.
Will Someone Help Me Find My Way?
Absolutely. If you’re unsure where to go when you arrive, one of our greeters or ministry leaders would be happy to help you find the worship hall, children’s ministries, youth ministry, or anything else you need.
Kids & Youth
Children and youth are a deeply valued part of our church family, and we are committed to creating spaces where they can know God, grow in the gospel, build meaningful friendships, and genuinely enjoy being part of the church. From infants through youth and into college, we want each stage of life to be supported by a caring community that helps them grow in faith together.
Nursery
Infants–18 Months
Our nursery provides a loving and caring space for the youngest members of our church family. Committed teachers care for our babies so parents can participate in worship knowing their little ones are in good hands.
Sundays | 10:45 AM–12:30 PM
Worshiping with Your Baby
Parents are always welcome to worship with their babies. A cry room is located in the back of the Living Water Worship Hall, providing a comfortable space for nursing mothers and parents who would like to remain in the service with their little ones.
LW Kids
18 Months–Kindergarten
LW Kids is a joyful place where our youngest children can begin learning about God and the gospel in a way designed especially for them. Each Sunday includes their own worship time, Bible-centered activities and crafts, fellowship, and lunch together.
Sundays | 11:00 AM–12:30 PM
Children are dismissed around the same time as the 11:00 AM adult worship service.
Elementary Ministry
1st–5th Grade
Our Elementary Ministry helps children grow in their understanding of God’s Word while building friendships and learning what it means to follow Jesus together. Sundays include worship, Bible study, fellowship, and lunch, along with additional activities and programs throughout the year.

Location: Second Floor of the Gym
Lunch follows in the cafeteria.
Oasis Youth
6th–12th Grade
Oasis Youth is a community where students can deepen their faith, engage with God’s Word, build lasting friendships, and grow together through the important years of middle and high school. Students gather each Sunday for their own worship service, Bible study, and time together as a youth community.
Sundays | 11:00 AM–1:30 PM
Location: Youth Worship Hall, Second Floor of the Gym
Direction
Our church is located in southeast Houston, just inside the 610 Loop at 3929 Colgate Street. Our Living Water family comes from all across the greater Houston area, and we’d love to welcome you wherever you’re coming from.
Parking
Several parking areas are available around the church campus. For Living Water, we recommend parking in the lot along Moline Street for the easiest access to our worship space.
